The Korea e-Sports Association (KeSPA) has announced that the 2026 LoL KeSPA Cup will kick off on July 20. The tournament, which will be exclusively broadcast on Disney+, features all 10 LCK teams competing for a total prize pool of 52 million KRW. Following their collaboration last year, Disney+ will continue its exclusive streaming partnership for this year's event.

The 2026 LoL KeSPA Cup will run for approximately one month, from July 20 to August 18, with matches held every Monday and Tuesday. The qualifiers through the first round of Stage 2 will be played online from July 20 to August 11. The second stage and the grand final are scheduled to take place offline at the Daejeon Esports Arena (Yuseong, Daejeon) on August 17 and August 18, respectively. All matches will be available to watch exclusively on Disney+.

The tournament consists of qualifiers and playoffs. The qualifiers will divide the participating teams into two groups of five, playing a single round-robin format over three days, with the top four teams from each group advancing to the playoffs. The playoffs are divided into Stage 1 and Stage 2. Stage 1 will follow a modified Swiss system, starting with matchups between teams that placed in the same position during the qualifiers, and will span four rounds to determine the teams advancing to Stage 2. The final stage, Stage 2, consists of three rounds, with each round played as a best-of-five series to determine the final champion.

In addition to the prize money, the Korea e-Sports Association will make a separate donation to 'Save the Children' in the name of the participating teams and the association. The funds will be used to support medical expenses for children from vulnerable backgrounds, and various individual donation programs and events for esports fans are also being planned.
