Clouded Leopard Entertainment has announced that the suspense-filled prison escape RPG 'Back to the Dawn ~Break the Animal Prison~' (hereinafter 'Back to the Dawn'), developed by Metal Head Games, will launch globally on PS5 on October 22. A limited edition will also be available at launch.

Launching alongside the standard edition, the 'Back to the Dawn LIMITED EDITION' includes a custom-illustrated box, a 3D diorama acrylic stand, and two pins featuring the main characters. It also includes a digital art book, a digital soundtrack application, a supporter pack, and exclusive downloadable content (DLC). The standard and digital versions are priced at 50,000 KRW, while the limited edition is priced at 76,600 KRW.

Early purchasers of the physical version will receive a microfiber fabric cloth themed after the game and a PS5-exclusive prison skin DLC. Additionally, the PS5 version adds support for Latin American Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese subtitles. These language options will also be available for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 via an update on October 22.

In addition to subtitle improvements, 'Back to the Dawn' now features new Japanese and Chinese voiceovers. The Japanese cast includes voice actors Shugo Nakamura and Yasuhiro Mamiya, who portray the protagonists, Thomas the fox and Bob the black panther, respectively.

'Back to the Dawn' was previously released on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on March 5, receiving positive reviews for its high degree of freedom and diverse escape routes.
