Pearl Abyss has released a new update for its game, Crimson Desert. This update focuses on expanding the activity areas for characters Ungka and Demian and adding new equipment to improve the player experience.

With this update, Ungka and Demian can now enter the Abyss alongside the existing protagonist, Cliff. Pearl Abyss explained that this expands the range of characters players can choose from and further enhances the fun of open-world exploration based on the unique charm of each character.

A large amount of new equipment has also been added to help with character growth. A total of 47 new pieces of equipment, including boss gear, have been introduced for Cliff, Ungka, and Demian. In particular, Demian and Ungka can now equip Kuku Bird-related gear that they could not wear before, adding to the fun of collecting and growing.

Improvements to the game system for user convenience have also been implemented. The dye function has been enabled for some camouflage outfits and weapons that could not be dyed previously, expanding the range of equipment customization. In addition, the minimap has been modified to display only the currently tracked quest on its border, increasing the game's intuitiveness and visual convenience.
