On the 13th, Nexon announced the launch of six new worlds on its free block-coding platform, HelloMaple, created by university student creators, alongside a user-participatory voting event. This project aims to foster next-generation creators and ensure content diversity within the platform. Six teams from three university game development clubs participated: Seoul National University's SNUGDC, Korea University's CAT&DOG, and Yonsei University's PoolC.

The participating teams officially released six hyper-casual games on the 1st, developed using the MapleStory Worlds pro-mode. These six new worlds are characterized by simple controls and intuitive gameplay, making them accessible to everyone. Among them, 'Save the Rock Spirit!' by the Korea University team and 'Spelling Forest of Patience' by the Yonsei University team reinterpret existing games by incorporating the MapleStory IP.

To celebrate the launch, Nexon is hosting a user voting event until August 2nd. Users can play the new worlds and vote for their two favorites, with a chance to win various prizes, including MapleStory character merchandise and gift vouchers. Nexon plans to analyze the voting results and play data to identify preferred content types and reflect them in future development directions.
