Riot Games will host the LCK Legend Match on August 4 at LoL Park in Jongno-gu, Seoul. This event is designed as a special stage that recreates the early days of domestic League of Legends esports.

Previously, Riot Games held a League of Legends classic exhibition match on the 12th at the Daejeon Convention Center during the 2026 Mid-Season Invitational finals. The match featured former professional players such as Kang 'Ambition' Chan-yong, Heo 'Pawn' Won-seok, and Kang 'Captain Jack' Hyung-woo, who heightened the atmosphere of the venue.

Immediately after the exhibition match, Riot Games announced information regarding regional special matches, and the LCK also released a related teaser video. The video contains plans to showcase the unique plays that appeared in the early days of esports.
