Steam discounts continue through the second half of the year. This time, the focus is on the so-called 'social deduction' genre, represented by titles like Among Us and Clue.

Valve is running the 'Social Deduction Games Fest' on Steam until 2:00 AM on July 17. Social deduction games involve multiple users engaging in psychological warfare to deceive others and identify the culprit. Among Us, the titan of this genre, is currently 40% off at 3,300 won, while the digital version of the board game classic, Clue/Cluedo: Classic Edition, is available at a 75% discount for 4,620 won.

Beyond these, a slew of titles with varied themes have joined the fray. We have Death Note Killer Within, based on the hit manga (50% off), West Hunt, which pits outlaws against sheriffs in a Wild West psychological showdown (50% off), Lockdown Protocol, where you must fend off saboteurs to complete your mission (40% off), First Class Trouble, which features a confrontation between players and hidden traitors against a threatening AI (90% off), and Oh Deer, where four deer face off against one hunter disguised as a deer (60% off).

The list continues with Backrooms: Apprehension, where you must survive while avoiding shapeshifting monsters hidden among your party (50% off), Gnosia, which involves finding hostile creatures hidden among people (30% off), Project Winter, where you must eliminate traitors and escape the bitter cold (75% off), Town of Salem, a reinterpretation of the classic werewolf-style social deduction game (66% off), and Deceive Inc., where you pose as others to snatch the objective before anyone else (90% off).

Steam has several more discount events scheduled. The Train Sim Fest will be held from July 20 to 27, and August will feature themes focusing on Cyberpunk, Pin & Peg (pinball, pachinko, bowling), and PvE survival crafting games. September will cover programming games and party-based RPGs, while October is set to include the Autumn Sale, Next Fest, as well as festivals for Cooking and Scream (horror) games. November will feature Auto Battlers, and the Winter Sale will be held in December.
