Netmarble has officially kicked off Season 1, titled 'Frost and Steel', for Game of Thrones: Kingsroad.

Spanning a total of six weeks, the 'Frost and Steel' season drops players into the icy North, now under siege by the Ironborn in a fierce faction war. Participants must pledge loyalty to one of three houses—Umber, Hornwood, or Manderly—and serve as a bannerman. Throughout the season, players will engage in a heated struggle for honor and glory among these factions.

A fresh batch of seasonal content has also arrived. Alongside new seasonal and relic quests, five major dungeons have been transformed into seasonal variants to match the 'Frost and Steel' theme. By participating in raid defenses, the Northern Bannerman Duel Festival, and various field exploration activities, players can earn 'Season Points' to boost their standing in both individual and house rankings.

Rounding out the update, the developer has added a new relic called the 'Broken Sword', a fresh boss named 'Unicorn' for the Altar of Memories, a Hard Mode for the Altar of Memories, and an expansion of the challenge-based 'Worm Road' up to the 40th floor.
