The first expansion pass for Pokopia, 'Bubble Bubble Undersea Village', announced back in June, is set to arrive on August 5th.

Pokemon Korea dropped the full details on their official website this past 29th. The new setting is the titular 'Bubble Bubble Undersea Village'. You will need to help the local residents, including Popplio and other marine Pokemon, by clearing tasks to develop the village. A new crop, the 'Watermelon', is being introduced; you plant seeds in underwater plots and rely on Pokemon with the 'Watering' specialty, like Mudkip, to get them growing.

The building system has also evolved to fit this aquatic theme. With the new 'Floating Block' mechanic, you can construct structures that hover underwater. By teaming up with Pokemon that possess 'Building' or 'Development' specialties, you can craft various facilities and deck out your underwater village with a massive array of new, sea-themed furniture.

The adventure side of things is getting a boost, too. Use glowing coral lights as your guide to explore the dark, deep sea alongside your Pokemon. Grab the Starmie doll, and you will unlock access to 'Dream Island', a previously unreachable location. On top of that, expect a broad expansion of content, including new 'Smoothie' recipes, buffed 'Surf' capabilities, and fresh Pokemon and cosmetics.

To coincide with the expansion launch, a free update will introduce the 'Diving' skill. Once you clear the 'Let's Raise the Environmental Level!' quest in 'Gloomy Beach Village' and have learned 'Splash' and 'Surf', the character Manaphy will teach you the skill. Unlocking this means you can move freely even while submerged.
