Arthdal Chronicles runs a persistent event titled 'Igutu Level-Up Gifts' for every character you create. It is a straightforward milestone system where you are gifted rewards for hitting specific levels, a process that most players exploit to bolster their inventory.

Levelling alts is significantly faster than your main character, thanks to the 'Collection' system, which shares stat bonuses across all characters in your account. With the ongoing 'Collection Boosting Event'—where completing 'Adventure Logs' or 'Growth Guides' automatically fills your collection—your main character's progress effectively supercharges your alt's development.

Tailor your goals to your current progress

Let’s be realistic: not every player has a fully established main character. If you are a newcomer hopping into the recently opened servers, your focus should remain on your main. In that scenario, keep your alt progression strictly to level 75.

Getting to level 75 usually takes about 10 hours of gameplay. In exchange, you walk away with a 'Hero Mount Summon Ticket' at level 60, a 'Hero Spirit Summon Ticket' at level 70, and a 'Hero Summon Selection Box' at level 75. Since you can maintain up to four alts, that is a haul of 12 Hero-grade summon items—a stellar return on a relatively small time investment.

Once your main character is on the right trajectory, aim for level 85. It will take more than double the time compared to reaching 75, but you will net an extra Hero Summon Selection Box. The final frontier is level 93, which requires clearing named monsters in the Binari Basin. This grants you three Hero Summon Selection Boxes, but given it takes nearly two days to grind, only tackle this when you have time to spare.

Note that the quality of the summon tickets shifts once you cross the level 75 threshold. Do not expect top-tier items like the 'Bone Awl' Spirit or Mount from the lower-level reward pools.

Bonus: Legendary Spirit and Mount rewards

Hitting level 98 earns you a 'Legendary Mount Summon Ticket,' and level 100 nets a 'Legendary Spirit Summon Ticket.' However, I would not recommend chasing these as a primary goal for alts. By level 100, the effort required is almost on par with your main character. If you are stubborn enough to try, ensure you diligently clear your mercenary and alliance missions daily. It is a long road, but it is achievable.

Additional perks of levelling alts

Beyond the summon tickets, there are plenty of side benefits. The most obvious is silver, your base currency. You will accumulate it steadily while grinding, and if you delete an alt, you can sell all their gear to vendors for a cheeky final payout.

There are also items for your Collection that help your main character. The 'High-Grade Scrivener's Seal' at level 65 is a prime example. If you have been doing your mercenary missions, use the coins to purchase 'Common Soldier's Equipment Boxes' or 'Elite Soldier's Equipment Boxes' to pad out your Collection stats.

The Hero-grade equipment blueprints you can obtain from late-game named monster achievements are also quite tempting. It is a one-time-only deal, but it provides a handy shortcut when you need to craft Hero gear.Make sure to leverage account-wide systems. Use bound materials found while levelling to craft and enhance outfits to boost stats for the entire account, and dump tradable materials into the account warehouse for your main character to use.

Optimizing your alt levelling efficiency

Since your main is the priority, speed is the name of the game for alts. I suggest choosing the same class as your main to take advantage of shared weapon skins, which provide a small but welcome stat boost.

If you have the capital to spare and plan on power-levelling multiple alts, assemble a set of tradable gear. You do not need to aim for Hero-grade here; Rare-grade is perfectly sufficient. Max out the enhancement levels on pieces that provide Accuracy and Attack power. Keep this set in your account warehouse so you can pass it down to every new alt you create.
