The patch brings a splash of summer with new character pickup events, the launch of a new competitive pre-season, a round of character balancing, and a rather clever quality-of-life addition: an AI chatbot named 'Rob' designed to serve as a resident expert for all things Star Sailor.

First off, the summer vibes are in full swing with the pickup event for the new 3-star companion, 'Remi The Rolling Pop'. Previously locked behind attendance rewards, Remi The Rolling Pop is now much easier to recruit. To give Remi The Rolling Pop an extra edge, the developers have introduced a new SSR-grade memory piece, 'Watermelon Smash?! Bring it on!'. Furthermore, a rotation recruitment event will run until September 9, offering boosted odds for the 3-star companion Iris and the 2-star companion Sion, along with their respective memory pieces.

Guilds should sharpen their strategies, as the fifth pre-season of the Union War—a competitive mode for alliance vs. alliance play—is scheduled to kick off on August 19. Additionally, both Nina and Iris have received balance tweaks, which should hopefully inject a bit more variety into current strategic meta.

Beyond the stats and numbers, Com2uS Holdings is aiming to make life easier for players by integrating 'Rob', an AI chatbot, directly into the game's Magic Parchment. Players can ping Rob for instant advice on popular deck builds, recommended gear setups, and general content walkthroughs. If that's not enough to keep you busy, a new defense-style minigame, 'Nina's Frontline Defense', has been added, allowing players to pocket some extra Diamonds as a daily reward.
