Kakao Games has announced that pre-registration for the upcoming MMORPG, Dokkaebi World, developed by Supercat, will officially kick off on August 20.

Dokkaebi World is an MMORPG built on a foundation of pixel art, drawing heavily from traditional Korean motifs. The developer promises a unique gameplay experience through a highly flexible skill-deck building system and clan-focused cooperative content.

The game is based on the Naver web novel 'Myeolgwisudojun'. Upon its initial release, the original work saw a meteoric rise in popularity, quickly securing the top spot in trending charts and consistently ranking within the top 10 for new releases.

Dokkaebi World is set for an October release. Kakao Games plans to pull back the curtain on key content and service roadmaps during a showcase event in September, followed by a series of marketing campaigns and events leading up to the launch.
