The open-world RPG Neverness to Everness launched its 1.3 version, 'Light Beyond the Mist,' on the 19th. This major update focuses on expanding the user experience by incorporating new characters, environments, seasonal activities, and offline events.

The newly added S-rank character, Zanhong, can be obtained through the limited-time banner 'Shadow of Deception.' In this banner, players can acquire not only Zanhong but also limited-edition gliders, liveries, and new costumes. Obtaining Zanhong also grants the story costume 'Red Hollyhock' for free. Simultaneously, the 'Allure Special Research' recruitment event has begun, increasing the drop rate for the limited S-rank Arc 'Blade that Gnaws at the Heart.'

With Zanhong's arrival, the first episode of the main story, 'The Scarlet Letter,' concludes, opening a new chapter. Zanhong, a key member of The Scarlet Letter, previously demonstrated the ability to create illusions in the 'Scarlet Mystery' story. In the field, she supports unique gameplay, such as using stealth to evade pursuit.

Content capturing a summer atmosphere has also been introduced. In the new area, 'Dusk Zone,' players can enjoy scenic views and racing challenges. Swimsuit costumes, the beach volleyball tournament 'Volleyball Star,' the water racing event 'Wave-Riding Sprint,' and 'Shipwreck Treasure Hunt' will be released sequentially. Additionally, the new water vehicle 'Tide' has been added to enhance maritime activities.

In the latter half of the version, the new S-rank character Rinko and the returning character Hotori will appear sequentially through the 'Sound of All Things' special banner and the 'A Cup of Moonlight' banner. The upcoming 1.4 version will feature the opening of the new amusement park, 'Puka Paradise.' Furthermore, Neverness to Everness will host an offline event, 'PC Bang-cance,' from the 21st to the 25th at T1 Base Camp and GGX PC Bang, featuring merchandise sales and stage programs.
