Clouded Leopard Entertainment has announced that a Korean-language demo for Nihon Falcom's story-driven RPG, Trails in the Sky the 2nd, is arriving on August 20. Along with the trial, fresh details on the game's cast are expected to drop. As the second full remake in the 'Trails' series, this title is headed to Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Steam.

You can grab the Trails in the Sky the 2nd demo from the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Store, and Steam starting at 11:00 AM KST on August 20. Expect roughly 10 hours of gameplay, covering everything from the prologue, 'A Maiden's Resolve', through to Chapter 1, 'Shadows Creeping Silently'. Any progress made carries over to the full release, and if you have save data from the predecessor, Trails in the Sky the 1st, you can unlock the 'Classic Style SC' bonus. A word of caution: the demo contains spoilers for the previous entry, so play that one first if you fancy avoiding them.

To carry over your progress, ensure the main game is updated to the latest version. For PS5 and Steam, simply use the 'Load Game' option on the title screen. Nintendo Switch users should navigate to the 'Transfer' menu. Note that the demo lacks 'Movie Viewing' and 'Viewer Mode' features, and you must use the same PlayStation Network or Nintendo account. Also, be aware that trophy progression is disabled for demo saves on PS5.
