The Korea e-Sports Association announced that it signed an official sponsorship agreement with Jeju Development Corporation on the 21st for the South Korean national e-sports team competing in the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. Under this agreement, Jeju Samdasoo will participate as the first-ever exclusive official water partner for the South Korean national e-sports team.

Jeju Samdasoo will provide essential hydration for the national team throughout their journey, including official training camps, the send-off ceremony, and the Asian Games themselves. The Korea e-Sports Association plans to strengthen its support to ensure that players can focus on training and competition in a stable environment.

Jeju Development Corporation will participate in official national team events hosted by the Korea e-Sports Association, such as send-off ceremonies and exhibition matches. Furthermore, the corporation will conduct various marketing campaigns utilizing the 'Team Korea of e-sports' IP, leveraging Jeju Samdasoo's online and offline platforms to promote the national e-sports team.

Korea e-Sports Association President Kim Young-man stated, "It is meaningful to have Jeju Samdasoo join as an official partner for the national e-sports team's journey to the Asian Games," adding, "Based on this cooperation, the association will spare no effort in supporting our players so they can train in a stable environment and perform at their best."

Meanwhile, the South Korean national e-sports team is set to compete in nine disciplines at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games: Fighting Games (Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, The King of Fighters 15), Pokémon UNITE, Honor of Kings, League of Legends, PUBG Mobile, Identity V, Gran Turismo 7, eFootball series, and Puyo Puyo Champions.
