Smilegate has officially lifted the curtain on August 26, launching the brand page and debut promotional video for the fresh title 'Dead Account: Two Blue Flames'.

Developed by Ian Games, the project is a team roguelike built upon the original manga 'Dead Account', thoughtfully blending character collection and progression mechanics. The development is currently underway as a cross-platform experience spanning mobile and Stove (PC).

The newly revealed brand page is set to serve as the official hub for 'Dead Account: Two Blue Flames', dishing out all sorts of details including pre-registration info, promotional videos, the original soundtrack (OST), alongside deep dives into the game and its characters.

The released promotional video tracks the journey of the protagonist Enishiro Soji, who exorcises ghost accounts, awakens the spiritual power known as 'Omnipotence', and transfers into Miden Academy. From there, the narrative kicks into high gear as Enishiro Soji teams up with academy companions to purge ghost accounts.

Accompanying the video is the official theme song for 'Dead Account: Two Blue Flames', capturing the desperate emotions of the protagonist Enishiro Soji—who survived like a living ghost amid a cruel reality—as the protagonist strives to reclaim a pure former self. Haruka Igarashi, who participated in the OST for an anime that began airing locally in Japan back in January, handled the lyrics, composition, and vocals.

Rewards tied to cumulative pre-registration milestones have also been unveiled. Pre-registered users can secure the SSR-tier character Urusugawa Kiyomi alongside a profile frame and title. As cumulative pre-registrations climb toward the 500,000 mark, additional sets of 10 character summon tickets will be doled out in increments of 100,000 players, offering up to 50 summon opportunities in total. Plus, sharing the pre-registration news on social media will net players extra character summon tickets and stamina.

The original manga serving as the foundation for 'Dead Account: Two Blue Flames' is penned by Shizumu Watanabe, known for works such as 'Real Account' and 'Trick Dedicated to Witches'. The story follows protagonist Enishiro Soji transferring to Miden Academy and struggling alongside companions to eradicate ghost accounts born from the digitalization of deceased individuals' social media profiles.
