The event, themed around the 'Star Cat Festival', places a heavy emphasis on a milestone built together with players. To mark the occasion, the publisher has introduced a brand new feline named 'Starbel', items and cats inspired by user contests, alongside a variety of commemorative events and fresh facilities.

This update focuses heavily on communicating with the players who have stuck with the game for half a decade while decorating the forest together. Set against the backdrop of a festival in the Star Cat Forest, the narrative features a small star tree planted in the forest that grows into a cosmic star tree through the dedication of players, bathing the entire forest in light for a special celebration. This drives home the slogan of a '5th anniversary that blooms together', conveying sincere gratitude to the community.

In the game, matching the theme, the '5th Anniversary Star Tree Growing Event' will run until September 9. Players can choose one cat among 'Kiki', 'Titi', and 'Popo' to nurture star tree seeds dropped in the forest until they grow into a 'Cosmic Star Tree'. Various rewards can be earned depending on participation and growth stages, and upon the event's conclusion, additional rewards will be handed out to all players based on the final growth stage.

In addition, special content embodying the spirit of a 5th anniversary created alongside the community is making its debut. Two real-life cats belonging to players who submitted impressive stories in the 'My Cat Bragging Contest' held last August for 'World Cat Day' are now appearing inside the game. Furthermore, a plethora of customization items selected through the 5th anniversary art contest have been implemented, which can be acquired via the '5th Anniversary Special Soup Pass'. On top of that, a new limited-edition cat named 'Starbel', holding starlight, has been added. Players can encounter Starbel through the in-game 'Observatory' and 'Meow Travel' until September 30.

New in-game content has dropped as well. Responding to feedback from players wanting to see more kittens playing together, the developers have introduced the 'Kitten Play Facility', where up to four kittens can be seen mingling in a single facility. Moreover, a new cooking facility called 'Ground Cherry Peeling' and a rest facility called 'Feeding Fish' have been added, allowing you to witness even more diverse daily routines of the felines. To help returning players settle back in smoothly, the difficulty and rewards of the return missions have been tweaked while throwing in various currencies.
