Xbox marks its 25th anniversary with a massive booth at Gamescom 2026. Visitors enjoyed hands-on demos for major titles like Modern Warfare 4. The exhibition also showcased hardware evolution and merchandise.

Look, let us be honest for a second. Founded back in 2001, Xbox is now celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Perhaps feeling the weight of some recent slumps, Xbox showed up at Gamescom 2026 with a massive booth packed with playable demos, alongside a rather neat little exhibition space dedicated entirely to that quarter-century milestone.

Down on the floor, attendees could actually get hands-on with titles like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and Star Wars: Zero Company. Naturally, the absolute crowd-pleasers of the bunch were Modern Warfare 4 and Gears of War: E-Day. Let us take a cheeky visual tour of the history-laden venue through our lens, courtesy of Gamemeca.
