Pearl Abyss has rolled out a Family-wide Life equipment integration update for Black Desert on September 2nd. Look, let us be honest, managing gear across alts is proper chore work, so this new patch lets adventurers share a single set of Life equipment across all classes within the same Family. Following this update, adventurers can now share their owned Life gear through a single equipment window across every class in the Family.

This is a rather sensible move to ease the old headache of having to individually swap and equip Life gear every single time you swap characters. On top of that, they have introduced a feature that lets you save and instantly apply specialized gear settings for your Life content. With these gear shifts, part of the lightstone combination formulas have been tweaked, and the durability for alchemy stones used in both combat and Life content has been completely binned.

A brand new item called 'Merv's Silver Needle and Knot' has also landed, allowing you to infuse functional costume effects right into your gear. Adventurers can make use of 'Merv's Silver Needle' to craft buffs like hunting, farming, and alchemy from functional costumes into a 'Knot', and then apply them directly to their gear. Brilliant stuff, really, as you no longer need to actually wear the functional costumes to enjoy those lovely buffs, making Life content considerably smoother. Plus, they have unveiled a new item named 'Orb of Clarity'. The 'Orb of Clarity' can be slotted into accessory slots, boosting your Life EXP acquisition by up to a cheeky 90% depending on its enhancement level. The 'Clear Crystal' required to enhance this 'Orb of Clarity' has arrived alongside it. You can get your hands on 'Clear Crystal' by gathering Essence of Dawn, Trace of Nature, and Magical Lightstone Crystals, then tossing them into a heating process.

The 'Special Login Rewards Part 2' event from the 'Heidel Ball' held back in July is now officially underway. Adventurers logging into the game up until October 20 can bag rewards based on their login streak, including 4 Dream-Calling Censers, up to 13,000 Cron Stones, and 3 Hammers of Loyalty. The Hammer of Loyalty is used for enhancing 'Ekreta' and 'Aperon' accessories at PRI (I) enhancement levels or higher.

To tie in with these lovely Life content improvements, Training and Gathering Hot Time events are also running. Adventurers can rake in an extra 50% bonus to gathering, training, and mount EXP until September 16. Alongside this, delivering Imperial horses will net you twice the usual amount of 'Flower of Oblivion', and completing requests from 'Lorenzo Murray' in Velia village will reward you with goodies like the [Event] Gula's Dream Horse Training Selection Box and Draught of Vasty Gallop.
