A new campaign video for 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4' detailing an infiltration into North Korea has been revealed.

Infinity Ward dropped a brand-new mission video titled 'Stranded' via its official YouTube channel on September 5. Following a rather rocky large-scale test over the past two weeks that picked up some mixed reviews, Modern Warfare 4 centers its core plot on the Second Korean War, triggered by a full-scale invasion from North Korea.

'Stranded' translates to being marooned or left high and dry, and this 38-second clip depicts the ROK-US combined forces infiltrating North Korea. It features Private Park Hyun-jun of the South Korean military—isolated in a snowy mountain range following a transport plane explosion—sneaking around with a handgun, alongside firefights inside a North Korean base. The voices of Private Park Hyun-jun and the North Korean troops are dubbed in Korean.

During the stealth sequence, facilities and equipment that look like internal classified installations, such as a North Korean submersible, pop up to amp up the immersion. The latter half of the footage wraps up with Private Park Hyun-jun getting spotted by North Korean soldiers. As the game progresses, you'll find yourself alternating between the new protagonist, Private Park Hyun-jun left stranded behind enemy lines, and Captain Price, who marches to the beat of his own drum.

Modern Warfare 4 is scheduled to launch on October 23 for PC, PS5, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. If you pre-ordered Modern Warfare 4, you can dive into the campaign early starting October 17 ahead of the official release.
