Arc System Works Asia announced on August 10th that Shadow Corridor 2: Rain Hydrangea has been released for the PS5. This title is the sequel to the globally popular horror game Shadow Corridor, featuring massive, randomly generated corridors where even more powerful wanderers appear to press the player.

The game begins as the protagonist girl Shigure tries to find peace in death but finds herself in mysterious circumstances. The story of this installment can be enjoyed without knowing the events of the previous work, though those already familiar with the lore will find themselves even more deeply immersed. In particular, the randomly generated dungeons are on a much larger scale than before, shifting shape with every run to deliver a fresh experience each time.

Additionally, a new system called the Karuta system has been introduced. Players can collect Karuta that trigger various special effects, building their own combinations and playstyles to aid in their escape. A wide array of more diverse, unique, and powerful items has also been added to help navigate the sprawling corridors.

Furthermore, the range of difficulty options has been expanded so that more users can experience the terror within the game. Alongside settings tailored for beginners, the developer has prepared extreme difficulties that surpass the previous entry, sparking a sense of challenge for veteran players.

The PS5 version of Shadow Corridor 2: Rain Hydrangea has been released as a digital download and officially supports Korean.
