Pearl Abyss' MMORPG Black Desert participated in the Korean Festival held in The Hague, Netherlands on the 11th, showcasing the charm of Korean culture and gaming to local visitors. Hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Netherlands with the aim of promoting traditional and modern Korean culture locally, Black Desert was invited and participated as the sole gaming content.

At the event, Black Desert operated an experience booth for the boss challenge content 'Black Shrine' included in 'Land of the Morning Light'. Festival visitors had the opportunity to directly experience the action within Black Desert against bosses originating from Korean folklore, such as the Nine-Tailed Fox, the Golden Pig King, and the Mountain Lord. Game passes for Black Desert were provided to all participants in the experience, and 'Papu' dolls were additionally presented to those who succeeded in the Black Shrine challenge, gaining a positive response from visitors.

The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the Netherlands hosted this festival to promote traditional and modern Korean culture locally. A variety of K-culture programs, including K-pop dance performances, Taekwondo demonstrations, traditional Korean music performances, and Korean food experiences, were successfully held on-site. Amidst these diverse programs, Black Desert played a role in promoting the charm of Korea through the medium of games.

Black Desert's 'Land of the Morning Light' content is K-content created against the backdrop of Korean myths, folk tales, and legends. This content has already received a good response among North American and European users. Previously, 'Land of the Morning Light' participated in TwitchCon Paris 2024 in France and Korea House, the Korean promotional hall operated during the Olympics, playing a role in promoting the beauty of Korea through games.
