Netmarble announced on the 16th that it is rolling out various updates for Solo Leveling: ARISE, headlined by the addition of the new SSR hunter 'Diana Lopez'. Dropping on the 17th, this patch also brings a fresh dungeon alongside expanded progression and combat systems. Plus, the developer dropped some teasers for the massive 2.5-year anniversary update slated for October.

The new hunter Diana Lopez is a wind-element buster type who brings a heavy-weapon-slinging combat style to the table. Key skills include 'Optic Piercer', which fires a laser straight ahead to toast enemies, 'Kinetic Impactor', allowing for a swift repositioning followed by precise shots, and 'Ragna Saul', which concentrates firepower at maximum output for a massive bombardment.

Alongside this, the new dungeon 'Workshop of Brilliant Light - Beast's Hunting Ground' makes its debut. In this dungeon, players can challenge the Fang Monarch 'Adan'. Story Expert difficulty chapters 26 through 29 are newly added, while the max levels and floors for existing progression and combat content—such as Battle Class, Arsenal page, Core level, Encore Missions, Instant Dungeons, Demon Castle, and Trial of Solitude—have all been bumped up.

Meanwhile, Netmarble spilled the beans on the upcoming 2.5-year anniversary update for Solo Leveling: ARISE through a developer's note, outlining the roadmap for October. Netmarble intends to deliver content that hits that sweet spot of progression satisfaction and chunky rewards. On top of that, a new 4-player hunter mode and infinite boss dungeon content will be introduced to spice up the action, while a guild system revamp aims to beef up the multiplayer cooperative experience.
