On September 17, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE kicks off a brand new update featuring two new bunny girl Nikkes and a fully voiced story event. In addition, recruitment for all previous winter season-limited Nikkes makes a triumphant return, giving everyone who missed out back then another shot at adding them to the roster.

The story event, COIN RUSH SHOWDOWN, is set against the backdrop of a massive three-enterprise expo. Commander joins forces with the Plan C Squad to dive headfirst into a battle royale event, only to get entangled in some rather unexpected conspiracies. The event runs from right after the maintenance on September 17 until October 8 at 4:59 AM. The story rolls out in two parts separated by a week.

Players can clear event stages and challenge stages to exchange for Advanced Recruitment Tickets, regular Recruitment Tickets, and essential Nikke growth materials. Furthermore, a dedicated mini-game titled THREE COMPANY RUMBLE is ready to dish out extra rewards. You can check out how to play directly in-game.

The fresh faces joining the roster—Guilty: Mighty Bunny (hereafter referred to as Bunny Guilty) and Shin: Swift Bunny (hereafter referred to as Bunny Shin)—are Burst 3, Water code, Attacker, Sniper Rifle type Nikkes. Bunny Guilty and Bunny Shin function as main DPS units that make use of the Bunny Mode: Engage and Bunny Mode: Stance states. The concept here is to swap damage types based on each state, delivering defense-ignoring damage and beefed-up offensive capabilities.

Bunny Guilty will be available in Special Recruitment from September 17 to October 8, while Bunny Shin hits the pool from September 24 to October 15. Keep in mind that these two newcomers are regular Nikkes rather than limited-time ones, meaning you can still bump into them via Ordinary Recruitment, Social Point Recruitment, and Mold items once their Special Recruitment periods wrap up.

Do not forget to check out the winter-limited Nikke rerun recruitment either. The lineup features a total of six characters: Rupee: Winter Shopper, Anne: Miracle Fairy, Ludmilla: Winter Owner, Mica: Snow Buddy, Maiden: Ice Rose, and Guillotine: Winter Slayer. The rerun recruitment for these six runs from September 17 to October 8. Players can pick one specific Nikke in the dedicated selective recruitment, though any rerun Nikke left off the target list will not show up during pulls. Aside from that, new costumes for Sugar and Mana alongside past bunny girl costumes are hitting the shelves, so make sure to take a stroll through the in-game shop.

There is a pile of event info and quality-of-life improvements to look over as well. First off, the 14-day login event EXPO CHECK-IN hands out Advanced Recruitment Tickets and growth materials. On top of that, weekend-only FULL BURST DAY events are scheduled for September 26-28 and October 3-5, letting players snag extra rewards from Interception and Simulation Room runs.

Opening on September 24, Champion Arena will bring its BETA season to a close with Season 39 and the subsequent Season 40. Make a mental note that Champion Arena operations will temporarily halt to pave the way for the official season. Solo Raid kicks off on the same day and wraps up on October 1, featuring Water as the weakness attribute, while boss details will drop later on the official lounge. Right after that, the cooperative operation Land Eater runs from September 25 to September 27 back-to-back, so be sure to mark your calendars.

Solo Raid also introduces a mock battle feature for locked stages alongside some sweet upgrades to the equipment modification system. Equipment modification now includes changing the timing for consuming effect-locking materials, adding a loadout for previous lock settings, applying duplicate result re-extraction, adding a view for modified equipment effects, issuing warnings when highest-tier effects are about to vanish, and lifting unlock conditions for effect changes and stat resets. Since the duplicate result re-extraction directly addresses player feedback, tweaking gear should feel a lot less painful than before.
