This year's SWC2026 regional cups will be hosted in brand new cities. The European Cup will take place in Hamburg, Germany, the America Cup in Toronto, Canada, and the Asia-Pacific Cup in Bangkok, Thailand. Selected for the first time in the tournament's history, these cities are expected to serve as stepping stones for expanding touchpoints with users worldwide. Much like the passionate atmosphere unique to South America witnessed in São Paulo last year, these new host cities are expected to showcase each region's distinctive and fiery cheering culture.

The regional cup finals will feature a massive turnout of veteran players who have performed brilliantly over a long period alongside rapidly rising newcomers. The Asia-Pacific Cup features BEAT.D, the SWC2018 champion and the first South Korean player to reach the summit, VISHA, who was named MVP of the Summoners War Korea-Japan Super Match, and YEONHONG-187, a former caster for the Thai SWC.

In the European region, powerhouse trio P4FFIX, RAXXAZ, and OBABO from last year's matches will be joined by PINKROID, who established a three-year consecutive championship record starting in 2021, foreshadowing a fierce competition. Over in the America Cup, TRUEWHALE, who holds a two-year consecutive regional cup championship record, and ZEZAS, a rising star from Brazil, are set to battle it out.

Meanwhile, the SWC2026 regional cups will proceed in the order of the European Cup on August 26, the America Cup on October 11, and the Asia-Pacific Cup on October 17. The top three players from each regional cup, along with TARS and KANGJING selected from the China regional qualifier finals and Open Qualifier South Korea 1st place SKIT, making a total of 12 players, will advance to the World Finals. Celebrating its tenth iteration, the SWC2026 World Finals will be held in Seoul, South Korea, promising legendary bouts in the pursuit of becoming the world's best.
