SOOP is hosting the '2026 Overwatch Destruction Match Invitational', featuring the team-based shooter game Overwatch, serviced by NEXON. A total of 24 popular streamers belonging to SOOP will participate in this tournament, divided into 4 teams to compete for a total prize pool of 20 million won.

SOOP's representative original content, the 'Destruction Match', is a tournament where streamers participate to form teams and compete across various game titles. This 'Invitational' will proceed in a format where SOOP directly invites popular and skilled streamers active in Overwatch to construct the matchups.

A total of 24 streamers, including gaming streamers such as Kim Seong-tae, Oa, Kang Man-sik, and Park Sajang, as well as virtual streamers like Viichan, Jingburger, and Hangyeol, are participating. On the 20th, Park Sajang, Jungryuk, Ttantan2dang, and Onnega stepped up as team leaders to conduct a team auction, completing the formation of the 4 teams. Streamers with diverse styles are scheduled to play together as a single team.

The matches are scheduled to take place in a full-league format starting at 7 PM on the 22nd and 23rd. Deciding victories through a best-of-three full league, the matches will utilize Control, Escort, and Hybrid modes. Afterwards, the finals will be held at 5 PM on the 24th, proceeding sequentially through Control, Escort, Hybrid, and Open queue modes in a best-of-seven format. A total prize pool of 20 million won will be awarded, with 15 million won given to the winning team and 5 million won to the runner-up team.

Alongside the tournament, a SOOP, NEXON, and Blizzard account linkage verification event will also take place. After logging into NEXON Overwatch and completing the account linkage, uploading the account linkage image to the event verification bulletin board by October 4 will give participants a chance to win prizes through a lucky draw.
