Smilegate has added a brand-new party dungeon piece of content called 'Cooperative Battle' to the MMORPG 'Eclipse: The Awakening'.

The newly unveiled 'Cooperative Battle' is an instance dungeon where players form a party of up to five to take down a formidable boss. Parties are put together via an automated matchmaking system, with a minimum participation requirement of four players. Two types of bosses, 'Lacerien' and 'Tulkan', appear in the Cooperative Battle, and players who team up with party members to tackle the boss within the time limit can bag various rewards such as up to Hero-grade skill books, stigmas, and Rare-grade equipment blueprints.

This update also reflects matters that the development general director, PD Lee Sang-moon, communicated through developer notes and live broadcasts while showing a clear will for improvement. First up, a 'Growth Effect' system has been added, which grants cumulative stats based on the total growth stages of 'Transcendence' and 'Weapon Appearance'. This helps players continuously utilise previously grown Transcendence and Weapon Appearance for character progression regardless of their grade. On top of that, the support scope has been widened to let players use AI mode even in 'Normal Dungeons'.

Meanwhile, Smilegate plans to tidy up the gameplay environment by adding a new world, 'Celine', to 'Eclipse' on October 2. The 'Celine' world will operate as a separate matchmaking group, allowing dungeon matching among players across the 3 servers within that world. A matching group is a system designed to bundle multiple servers into one so that players belonging to the same group can enjoy competitive and cooperative content together.
