The G-Star Secretariat announced on the 13th that it is officially accepting applications for food truck operators to join the international game exhibition G-Star 2026, scheduled to take place from November 19 to 22 at BEXCO in Busan. This recruitment aims to curate a diverse food truck zone, ensuring visitors have access to a variety of delicious grub and essential conveniences.

Eligibility is restricted to food truck vendors who meet all legal operating requirements, possess a fully equipped mobile kitchen vehicle, and reside in South Korea, regardless of nationality. Specifically, applicants must have completed vehicle structural modification approval, operate without a permanent offline storefront, and steer clear of being corporate or franchise-style food trucks.

Applications are open online through the official G-Star website until October 18, after which the G-Star Secretariat will review submitted documents to lock in the final participants. The secretariat plans to prioritize menu diversity as a key selection criterion to guarantee attendees a rich culinary experience.

The food truck zone will operate in the outdoor parking lot of BEXCO Exhibition Center 1 throughout the event. An official from the G-Star Secretariat noted that the food truck zone is set to be a space delivering both flavour and joy to visitors, while encouraging operators with distinct menus to show interest and apply.
