Arte France and Oobjee Daisies have announced the release date for the narrative adventure game Tom the Postgirl. The title is officially scheduled to launch on PC, Mac, and Nintendo Switch on August 29.

Tom the Postgirl is an adventure game following the delivery routes of a mischievous courier named Tom. Tom seizes every chance during deliveries to peek inside houses and gets tangled up in local affairs. Along the way, players meet townsfolk harboring their own secrets in a charming village. Windows, doors, and cracks in walls all present opportunities to uncover hidden truths, revealing the true nature of various characters such as a narcissistic mayor, an orphanage masquerading as a dog kennel, and a hippy couple wielding chainsaws.

The game also delivers a retro visual experience utilizing frame-by-frame animation techniques. Featuring uniquely hand-drawn backgrounds and various hiding spots to spy on residents, players observe subtle details leading to intriguing and occasionally unsettling scenes. Non-human characters also appear, including drug-dealing pigeons, wandering cowboy earthworms, and grumpy squirrels. By trampling fences, ruining flowerbeds, and stealing garden gnomes, players can disrupt the peace, snoop around, meddle, and cause absolute chaos.

Tom the Postgirl showcases a distinct art style combining the pure aesthetics of a children's storybook with the bizarre eccentricities of an Adult Swim cartoon. Multiple playthroughs let players uncover missed details and choose between more mischievous or standard playstyles to dig up every single resident's secret. Furthermore, multiple endings, achievements, and unlockable profiles ensure high replay value.

Tom the Postgirl will retail for €9.99 (approximately 14,400 Korean Won). For two weeks starting from launch, Steam will offer a 10% discount. The game supports numerous languages including French, English, Italian, German, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Russian.
