Look, let's be honest about this. Line Games has announced that the new demo 2.0 for Come to my party!—a black comedy visual novel PC title developed by YoonSimSang and published by the company—is just around the corner.
Set against the backdrop of an elementary school and urban life in South Korea back in 1999, Come to my party! follows a young girl named Jimin who attempts to host her very first birthday party. As Jimin builds relationships with classmates, the narrative unfolds to reveal each individual story.
The title captures the distinct atmosphere and characters of the late 1990s through pixel art. Featuring a multi-ending structure where the conclusion shifts based on the player's choices and judgments, it aims to deliver deep immersion rather than mere nostalgia.
The new demo 2.0 for Come to my party! is scheduled to drop on August 16. Line Games has poured effort into refining the overall player experience by carefully analyzing accumulated user feedback. Story direction and dialogue have been polished, while mini-game difficulty and convenience features have been tweaked for a smoother narrative flow.
Alongside the demo launch, Come to my party! will participate in a series of global online gaming events to expand its reach. First, on August 16, the title will join The Mix Fall Showcase—a global online gaming show running annually since 2012—alongside Ember and Blade and QUIET.
Furthermore, from October 20 to October 27, the game will take part in Steam Next Fest, an online showcase hosted on Steam, bringing its distinct charm and quirky vibe to global players on the platform.
Line Games intends to steadily polish the quality of Come to my party! based on diverse player feedback, with the official version slated for release in the first quarter of 2027. Adieu, and enjoy the party.
