Kakao Games has revamped the ArcheAge War dungeon 'Ancient Forest' and introduced a brand new Primordial grade weapon, 'Baadran'.

To improve hunting efficiency in the Ancient Forest, monster levels and kill rewards have been thoroughly adjusted alongside the addition of fresh monster types. Chaos zones have also been expanded, and sections packed with massive groups of enemies are now ready for you.

The altar capture mechanics have received a cheeky rework, too. Instead of spawning in a fixed spot, altars now appear randomly among three locations. The time required for a capture has been bumped up from 3 seconds to 8 seconds, while the holding duration stretches from 3 hours to 6 hours. The Ancient Forest will alternate bi-weekly with the 'Vision of the Four Seasons' revamp introduced back in September.

The developer is also showing off the 'Baadran' weapon, a Primordial grade gear piece sitting right above the Eannad weapons. You can get your hands on a Baadran weapon by evolving the same type of Eannad weapon at the Anvil of Evolution.

Boss spawn locations and balancing have seen some tweaks as well. 'Gelt the Furious Despair', a boss previously found in the matching dungeon 'Eternal Abyss', has relocated its spawning grounds to the 'Abyss of Demons' to cut down on unnecessary brawls between casual hunters and boss-raid enthusiasts. The exact same change hits Gelt the Furious Despair on the Gredlon server.

Over in the Rocka's Standoff region, 'Galom the Gale Wings' has had its health pool and skill damage nerfed. Meanwhile, the Groa summon ticket fragments needed to craft Berserk Galom have dropped from 200 down to a much more reasonable 50.

Naturally, an update isn't complete without events. On the Gredlon server, Lucky Key Season 10 runs until November 4, handing out Legendary crafting blueprints and Eannad Ink (Legendary). Over on the Barrua server, Lucky Draw Season 5 kicks off during the same window, featuring the Eannad Equipment Selection Box and the Noble Ease Armor Selection Box.

Across all servers, the Chronicler's Attendance Check runs until November 18, dishing out the Garden's Leaf Lucky Box and the Resplendent 11x Summon Selection Box. Plus, you can knock out daily missions until November 4 to grab Star Treasure and Heroic Summon Selection Boxes through the Agent's Mission event.
