Riot Games has officially rolled out the new agent Hush in their tactical shooter Valorant. Dropping with the 13.09 patch, Hush brings a rather fascinating telekinetic kit to the table. Alongside the launch, Riot Games announced a fresh batch of play rewards for the ongoing VAL Piece event.

As the thirtieth agent to join the roster, Hush hails from Guangdong and proudly claims the title of Valorant's very first telekinetic character. Hush relies on disrupting enemy teams with an array of abilities, manipulating positions of both allies and foes to control the flow of combat.

Hush's signature passive, Telekinesis, allows for picking up weapons and Spikes (attackers only) as well as interacting with map switches from a safe distance. The E ability, Formation Break, pulls all players hit by the explosion toward the center of the area, inflicting a concussion if they collide with surfaces or other players. Meanwhile, the Q ability, Flashlamp, blinds anyone unfortunate enough to be looking at the thrown projectile.

Both the E and Q abilities offer dual usage methods: an instant throw via left-click or a prepped throw via right-click. A particularly neat trick lets the player press the ability button again after a left-click to alter the trajectory toward the crosshair. The ultimate X ability, Absolute Halt, moves in the direction of the crosshair upon firing, detonating upon reactivation to hoist all impacted players into the air. Depending on the pilot's mechanical prowess, Hush promises to deliver some genuinely cheeky strategic moments.

To celebrate the launch, Riot Games has injected a brand new Hush play reward into the ACT 6 VAL Piece event, which kicked off back on October 14. Players who dive in with Hush can pocket 200 VAL Pieces, redeemable once per account during the event window. The ACT 6 VAL Piece event is scheduled to run all the way until January 5, 2027.
