Blomix and Rhaon Entertainment have officially rolled out their summer update for Tales Runner. The update introduces a new 'Animal Village' channel, three new maps, and the game's first animal character, Jabb.

The Animal Village channel invites players to experience three new maps and various events. These include 'Welcome Animal Village', set in a quaint animal-themed village, and 'Departure: Delivery Runner', a race where players must solve consonant quizzes while fleeing from a pursuing pig-villager. A co-op map, 'Infiltrate Animal Village Sheriff Office', has also been added. Players must overcome various obstacles and cooperate with their team to defeat the animal boss, 'Kim Kkot-bun'.

The reward system has also been enhanced. Players can collect contribution points and coins while playing in the Animal Village channel, which can be exchanged for various items and rewards at the Village Mart.

Jabb, the first animal character in Tales Runner, has also been released. Inspired by a puppy, Jabb features a friendly and bubbly charm. To celebrate the launch, the 'Jabb's Nice to Meet You Mission Note' event is underway. Players can earn Jabb-related titles and chat bubbles by completing missions assigned by Jabb.

A new event, 'A Stroll with Jabb', has also been unveiled. Players can race against Jabb across eight stages in specific maps; beating Jabb to the finish line rewards participants with Animal Village boxes and keys. Furthermore, collecting costumes and items for Jabb’s wardrobe nets additional prizes like the 'Jabb Flower Dressing Box' and 'Jabb Fashion Tokens' based on the accumulated points.

Finally, new prestige-grade items 'Ilipia' and 'Animal Dream' have been added, alongside the legendary-grade item 'Angel Cat'. A new 'Animal Academy' outfit set is also available via the personal gacha in the shop.
