The Darksiders series, which gained popularity for its exhilarating action and high-quality puzzles featuring the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, has unveiled its latest installment.

THQ Nordic announced Darksiders 4 during its Digital Showcase 2025 on the 1st (local time). The Darksiders series is set in a post-apocalyptic world devastated by the conflict between Heaven and Hell, and this new title is no exception. Notably, it serves as a direct sequel to the first game.

It is an action-adventure game that blends combat, exploration, and puzzles in a post-apocalyptic setting, featuring various myth-inspired bosses. Unlike the third game, which used a top-down perspective, this title returns to the series' signature third-person view.

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the series' icons, are also back. Players can choose one of the four: Death, Fury, Strife, or War. They represent death, rage, strife, and war, respectively. Each Horseman features unique weapons and combat styles, offering fast-paced action that utilizes melee strikes and supernatural abilities. Additionally, the game supports cooperative play for up to 4 players.

Darksiders 4 will be released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The official release date and support for the Korean language remain unconfirmed.
