Undusted: Letters from the Past, a sentimental cleaning simulator currently in development by Krafton’s creative studio 5minlab, is slated for a Nintendo Switch release this October.

The news regarding the Switch version broke on the 7th during the 'Nintendo Indie World' showcase, which highlighted upcoming indie titles for the console. A PC version of Undusted is also scheduled to launch on Steam throughout October.

Undusted offers a poignant experience focused on cleaning and restoring rusted, neglected objects. Using an array of tools like sponges and toothbrushes, players restore items filled with nostalgia—such as teacups and cassette players—to their former glory. Players can inspect contaminated areas and scrub with precision, aiming to hit 100% on the restoration progress graph displayed at the bottom of the screen to complete each stage.

The protagonist, Adora, returns to their childhood home following the passing of their mother. By clearing out long-neglected items, Adora begins to confront memories of the past. Through the process of restoring the stories imbued in these objects, Adora gradually comes to understand the mother with whom they had become estranged.
