Students from Gyeonggi Game Meister High School have advanced to the main exhibition of the indie game event 'Busan Indie Connect Festival 2025 (BIC Festival 2025).' The 11th annual BIC Festival is being held at BEXCO for three days, from the 15th to the 17th.

Gyeonggi Game Meister High School is showcasing three games: ▲BladeX ▲NightCode ▲VIRTUS. Students have personally handled the entire development process, including planning, design, and programming, over the past several months.

BladeX is a roguelike action game where weapon performance and skills change based on equipment tag combinations, adding fun through the strategic use of randomly provided gear.

NightCode is a high-risk, high-reward combat game based on rope action, allowing players to freely change their playstyle through various combinations of weapons and chipsets.

VIRTUS is a 2D pixel-art game that combines deck-building with roguelike action, where players use costs earned in battle to activate cards, build their decks, and face powerful enemies.

The students plan to improve their entries based on feedback received at BIC and continue development with the goal of participating in various future competitions and commercialization.

Jung Dae-sik, Principal of Gyeonggi Game Meister High School, stated, "Gyeonggi Game Meister High School provides practical, industry-focused education in game planning, graphics, and programming, helping students acquire the skills needed to be immediately effective in the field.
