XD has officially confirmed 25 September for the Asian server launch of their upcoming turn-based RPG, Etheria. Before the official release, a 12-day closed beta test is set to kick off on 28 August.

Etheria leans heavily into the strategic side of turn-based combat. You collect heroes, build your own squad, and dive into a mix of real-time PvP, boss encounters, and various PvE challenges. The real hook here is the 'Shell' system—with over 30 varieties to mix and match, the potential for synergy-driven strategic play is quite high.

What is more, the publisher has lowered the barrier to entry by making single summons roughly 37% cheaper than the industry standard. They have also implemented a 100% pickup guarantee, an 80-pull pity system, and—thankfully—no weapon banners.

The global server already saw a warm reception back on 5 June. The Asian server launch will follow suit with a full suite of content, including PvE challenges, real-time PvP arenas, and the official global esports tournament, 'EWS (Etheria World Summit)'.

The upcoming test on 28 August will be available on both PC and mobile as a cross-platform experience, serving as a final polish session to balance combat and optimize performance before the official release.
