Com2uS has stepped up as a sponsor for a charity marathon held in honour of National Liberation Day.

On the 18th, Com2uS announced their support for the '2025 815 Run' campaign, organised by Habitat for Humanity Korea. Now in its sixth year, the 815 Run is an annual charity marathon designed to reflect on the historical significance of National Liberation Day and provide support for the descendants of independence activists. Participants can choose between a virtual run, where they dash from anywhere they fancy, or an offline run to cross the finish line together.

The offline event took place on August 15th at the Sangam World Cup Park in Seoul, marking the 80th anniversary of liberation. The event saw a record-breaking turnout of over 19,000 participants. As a sponsor, Com2uS donated 8.15 million won to fund housing improvements for the descendants of independence activists. These funds are earmarked for projects aimed at upgrading their living conditions.

A Com2uS official remarked, "We are delighted to share in the noble spirit of National Liberation Day and to participate in this meaningful initiative to help the descendants of independence activists lead more stable lives," adding, "We remain committed to fulfilling our corporate social responsibilities through diverse outreach programmes."
