A rather unique exhibition is set to open in Mullae-dong, Seoul, where the usual cut-throat competition is refreshingly absent.

PsychoFlux Entertainment announced on the 16th that 'Seoul Game Town' will kick off in Mullae-dong, Seoul, on the 20th. Carrying the slogan 'A game exhibition for everyone,' the event positions itself as an open festival where anyone can showcase their creations, free from the hurdles of judging, paperwork, or genre restrictions.

According to the Seoul Game Town steering committee, major domestic game shows often leave countless indie developers in the cold due to intense competition. The committee noted that roughly 70% of applicants for typical events fail to secure a spot. "We felt a space was needed where everyone could have their work respected just as it is," the committee shared. "We aim to create an environment where respect, connection, experimentation, and potential take precedence over evaluation."

Consequently, Seoul Game Town opted to recruit 30 teams on a first-come, first-served basis, offering exhibition slots without any rigorous vetting. The goal is to build a festive ground accessible to anyone with a game to show. The 30 participating teams have already been confirmed, and the event is now just days away. Attendees can visit the All That Mind Mullae branch between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Tickets are priced at 12,000 KRW per person and are available for purchase on-site.
