Pearl Abyss has officially kicked off the Black Desert 'Season (V)', which will run from the 24th through to December 17th.

For the uninitiated, the Black Desert 'Season' is a dedicated server environment designed to fast-track new and returning players, while providing various growth rewards to existing adventurers. This iteration promises a series of challenges that act as a turbo-boost for your gear progression.

Once a seasonal character hits level 60, players can claim two PEN (V) Boss Defense Gear Selection Boxes. By tackling further milestones—such as slaying 100 monsters or reaching level 61—adventurers can secure a PEN (V) Capotia Accessory Selection Box and Old Moon Alchemy Catalysts. Gather enough of these components, and you can guarantee an upgrade to PEN (V) accessories, making the road to power significantly shorter.

Stepping into the season server grants a 1,000% combat EXP buff, making the climb to higher levels feel like a breeze. These seasonal rewards are specifically tailored to help adventurers push their existing gear to the coveted PEN (V) tier with minimal fuss.

To mark the Chuseok holiday, a special login event will run from the 25th until November 4th. Players logging in daily can snag items like the [Event] Abundant Chuseok Gift Box, Advice of Valks (+200), a 7-day Value Package, and a Dream-Calling Censer. If you play your cards right, you can walk away with up to 7,000 Cron Stones.

Beyond that, the studio is running a promotion until October 15th where completing quests for the materials required to craft the 'Ornette's/Odore's Spirit Essence' treasure items will yield three times the usual reward.
