NEXON has expanded its free coding education platform, HelloMaple, by dropping eight fresh worlds and introducing a long-awaited comment feature.

Six of these new additions are block-coding worlds, allowing users to tinker with existing resources and logic through a remake function. To keep educators and students from fumbling, NEXON has thoughtfully bundled these with comprehensive lesson plans, guidelines, and activity ideas.

Take 'Game Land Treasure Hunters', for instance, where players must retrieve coins snatched by the Pharaoh Yeti's minions and take down the final boss to secure the loot, earning the 'Guardian' title upon success. Then there is the 'Fairy Idol Debut Project', a narrative-driven quest where players retrieve stolen equipment from the rocker Spirit to ensure the idol group Musiel nails their debut performance.

Furthermore, NEXON has rolled out two official titles co-developed with Myongji University. 'Jump! Korean Running' is a quiz game designed to polish language skills, with the National Institute of Korean Language providing a stamp of approval on its educational rigour. Meanwhile, 'Stack It Up! Block Chef' tasks players with managing orders and sequences, a clever way to sharpen computational thinking while playing digital cook.

Rounding off the update is the new comment system, which went live on the 4th. NEXON General Director Shin Min-seok shared some thoughts on the matter, noting, "We hope these new worlds and features serve as practical learning tools for both teachers and students. The team will continue to obsess over delivering content that is genuinely useful for our users."
