Gravity is kicking off the preliminary rounds for its 2D MMORPG 'The Ragnarok' global guild tournament, dubbed 'TRC' (THE Ragnarok Championship), starting this coming 26th.

TRC marks the first global-scale guild PvP tournament since the launch of The Ragnarok. It draws in players from Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and Southeast Asia. The top guilds from each regional qualifier will advance to the final stage, which is set to take place offline at the 'RAGNAROK FESTA 2025' in Thailand this December.

The preliminaries will run for five weeks, from the 26th through October 25th. For the first four weeks, participating guilds and matchups will be confirmed every Friday, followed by ranking matches on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Final rankings are decided by cumulative points over the five-week period, with the top two guilds earning their ticket to the finals. Points are awarded based on the destruction of the core objective, the Emperium, as well as occupation duration and the final state of the objective when the match concludes.

Notably, the final matches of the fifth week will be held both online and offline. Matchups will be set on Thursday, with games running Friday and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM. On October 25th, the final day, fans can visit a venue near Mapo-gu, Seoul, to watch the action live. Guild members who show up in person will receive Ragnarok merchandise and in-game coupons. Every attendee will get gifts like KakaoTalk emoticons, plus there will be special PvP matches against Gravity operators and various prize events.

Special rewards await the participants, too. Throughout the preliminaries, the server housing the weekly 1st-place guild will receive 'Nullification of Imaginary' and Zeny three times. Following the tournament, the top 10 guilds will receive Mythic Coin Treasure Chests, Zeny, and more 'Nullification of Imaginary'. Members of the top two guilds advancing to the finals will be awarded a new back decoration, the 'Blue Mystery' ring, pet eggs, and Zeny.

Jung-hee Jeong, the Business PM for The Ragnarok at Gravity, stated, "As TRC is the first global tournament for The Ragnarok where guilds can compete beyond their regions and servers, we have packed it with generous rewards and special events." Jeong added, "We are offering finalists the unique chance to compete offline in Thailand, so we hope every guild brings their best performance."
