This isn't just his maiden EVO title; it marks a stunning hat-trick of three Premier wins for the 2025 Capcom Pro Tour (CPT).

The event saw a massive turnout, with 3,498 competitors descending on France. Specifically, the Street Fighter 6 category drew a field of 1,664 hopefuls. LeShar tore through the group stages without dropping a single set, eventually dismantling Japan’s Tokido and Kobayan in the Top 8 and semi-finals to punch his ticket to the Grand Finals.

In the double-elimination Grand Finals, LeShar faced a familiar foe: the 15-year-old Chilean prodigy, Blaz, who had previously thwarted him at Capcom Cup 11 in March and the EWC 2025 semi-finals. Opting for his signature character, 'Ed', LeShar looked comfortable with an early 2-0 lead, but the young challenger wasn't going down without a fight, clawing one back to make it 2-1.
