The Jeonnam Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency (hereafter referred to as the Agency) has announced that it will host a variety of gaming programmes in collaboration with the Jeonnam Global Game Centre at the '2025 Jeonnam Content Fair'. The event is set to take place from October 31 to November 2 at the Papillon.Zip site in Jangheung-gun, famously known as the former Jangheung Prison site.

The Jeonnam Global Game Centre is setting up a dedicated 'Game Zone' to showcase the competitive edge of our local gaming industry to the public. You will have the chance to get hands-on with 16 mobile and PC titles from 10 local companies supported by the Agency. Featured games include Superflux’s 'O2Jam DJ Club', Anydu’s 'Ttoba Shoot', and Newsalt’s 'Spin Hero'.

Beyond the 'Game Zone', there is a packed schedule of participatory events, including esports tournaments, family gaming camps, and an eco-plogging campaign. The highlight of the esports scene will be the finals for the hit FPS 'Valorant'. After the online qualifiers, the offline showdown is scheduled to take place at the main fair venue on Saturday, November 1, from 13:00 to 16:00.

If you are looking for family fun, the 'Game Culture Family Camp' utilising the Nintendo Switch will be held on Sunday, November 2, from 13:00 to 17:00. It’s a lovely initiative designed to bridge the generational gap through the medium of play. Furthermore, the 'Eco-Plogging Campaign'—a joint effort by industry professionals, university students, and the general public to promote environmental awareness and a positive perception of esports—kicks off at 16:00 on the same day.

For those interested in the industry's inner workings, don't miss the special guest lecture on October 31, Friday, from 13:00 to 14:00. Kim Yu-seok, CEO of The Horizon, the developer behind the MMORPG 'Ad', will be sharing his insights on regional growth strategies and the latest industry trends.
