The Korea e-Sports Association (KeSPA) has officially wrapped up the 2025 LCK Academy Series (LCK AS) second half academy league, with T1 Esports Academy Rookies taking the crown.

After a runner-up finish in the first half, T1 Esports Academy Rookies finally secured the top spot. Dplus KIA Youth claimed second place, while DN Freecs Academy finished third, followed by Hanwha Life Esports Academy, OK Savings Bank BRION Academy, and Nongshim Esports Academy in order.

The final showdown featured the league’s top-seeded T1 Esports Academy Rookies against third-placed Dplus KIA Youth. T1 dominated from the start of the first set; top laner 'Guardian' Seong Tae-hyo expertly turned a 3-man dive to seize momentum, and after securing the final Baron and an ace, T1 comfortably took the lead.

In the second set, jungler 'Painter' Kim Eun-hoo took the reins. A well-executed gank in the bot lane around the 14-minute mark led to the destruction of the tier-one tower and a Rift Herald steal, eventually snowballing into a massive team fight victory where he finished with a flawless KDA of 4/0/15.

The final set saw mid laner 'Solbon' Yoon Do-hyun turn the tide early by catching the opposing jungler in a tough spot. Despite a shaky moment during a 5v5 team fight, Yoon's Aurora play secured a quadra kill, cementing a clean 3-0 sweep for the team.

T1 Esports Academy Rookies captain and jungler 'Painter' Kim Eun-hoo remarked, "We had plenty of confidence thanks to our rigorous solo queue practice, which really paid off in these tough matches. I'm incredibly grateful for the attention given to these third-string matches, and we look forward to showing our best next year."

The champions, T1 Esports Academy Rookies, walked away with the trophy and a prize of 8,000,000 won, while runners-up Dplus KIA Youth and third-place finishers DN Freecs Academy received 3,000,000 won and 2,000,000 won respectively.
