The 2025 Valorant Game Changers Championship is set to kick off at LoL Park in Seoul on the 20th. With the stage set, the final list of 10 participating teams has been officially confirmed.

The 'Valorant Game Changers' initiative is designed to provide a much-needed spotlight for women in the Valorant esports scene, and this Championship serves as the ultimate international showdown to crown the world’s best. Notably, this marks the first time the tournament will be held in Asia.

Ten teams are vying for the title this year. Representing the Pacific region, Xipto GC enters as the champion, joined by runner-up Ninetails. It is a historic moment for Ninetails, as they become the first-ever Korean team to step onto the Game Changers Championship stage.

The Americas region is sending a formidable quartet: North American Stage 2 winners Shopify Rebellion Gold, Brazilian champions Team Liquid Brazil, Latin American representatives KRÜ Blaze, and the survivors of the Americas Last Chance Qualifier, Made In Brazil GC.

From the EMEA region, we have three contenders: EMEA Stage 3 winners G2 Gozen, alongside circuit point leaders Karmine Corp GC and GIANTX GC. Rounding out the pack, China’s own Nova Esports GC—winners of CN Stage 2—will be making the trip to Seoul.

If you are looking for the heavy hitters, all eyes are on the Americas' Shopify Rebellion GC. Having secured a runner-up finish in 2022 followed by back-to-back titles in 2023 and 2024, they are the team to beat. They will be challenged by the likes of Team Liquid Brazil, who finished as runners-up in 2023, and Made In Brazil GC, who took silver in 2024. Then there is the EMEA powerhouse G2 Gozen; winners in 2022 and consistent semi-finalists every year since, they are never to be underestimated. Of course, the real question for us is how well our local heroes, Ninetails, will stack up against this international elite.

The 2025 Valorant Game Changers Championship begins on Thursday the 20th at LoL Park in Jongno, Seoul. The tournament follows a double-elimination format with best-of-three matches, with the final four teams advancing to the decisive weekend. The action heats up on Friday, November 28th, with the Upper Bracket Final and Lower Bracket Semifinal. The Lower Bracket Final follows on Saturday, November 29th, leading up to the grand finale on Sunday, November 30th. Both the Lower Bracket Final and the Grand Final will be best-of-five showdowns. Ninetails will dive straight into the deep end on opening day, Thursday the 20th, facing off against Nova Esports GC.

Riot Games is pulling out all the stops, transforming LoL Park into 'VAL Park' for the duration of the event. Over the 10-day period, fans can look forward to interactive Valorant-themed programs and influencer matches.
