Bandai Namco Entertainment Korea has announced that the RPG 'Tales of Berseria Remaster' will be released on Thursday, February 26, 2026. The game will be available on Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The Steam version is scheduled for release on Friday, February 27, 2026. Pre-orders for the digital versions on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S have begun, and the contents of the physical package have also been unveiled.

'Tales of Berseria Remaster' is a remastered version of the original 'Tales of Berseria' released in 2016. It features a story led by the series' first solo female protagonist. The existing battle system has been improved to suit the current generation.

The game begins with a story where the world changes on a night when a crimson moon rises. The world is plunged into chaos as 'Daemonblight,' which turns humans into monsters, spreads. For Velvet, a girl living with her family in a remote village, a tragedy occurs on the night the crimson moon rises again. Her brother-in-law takes her younger brother's life, and her left arm, consumed by a mysterious power, transforms into a demonic limb that devours monsters. Velvet vows to take revenge on Artorius, her brother-in-law who took her younger brother's life.

Velvet sets off on a journey across the sea to the 'Midgand Sacred Kingdom,' a great nation that governs a vast territory. She meets companions such as Rokurou and Laphicet. She continues her journey to take revenge on Artorius, who is now called the savior of the world. Convenience features unique to the remaster have been added. A destination icon display feature has been added, and a function to turn off encounters with enemies in fields and dungeons is included. The series' iconic 'Grade Shop' is also available from the start.

Some of the 70+ DLC items sold during the original version are included in the main game. Costumes that allow players to dress up as characters from past series and convenience items have been added. Digital pre-orders have begun, and a digital-exclusive 'Deluxe Edition' is being sold alongside the standard version. Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch digital version will be available at a later date.
