Netmarble released a year-end special developer video on the 22nd for 'Monster Stardive', the upcoming action RPG currently being developed by Netmarble Monster.

Production Director Lee Dong-jo and Business Division Head Kang Dong-ki appeared in the video to explain improvements based on player feedback and the current status of development.

First, they introduced key content not previously revealed in tests. Highlights included 'Bond Quests' featuring character backstories, the 'Rift' system focused on character progression, undiscovered 'Legendary Monsters' within the world, and new character costumes.

A user survey has been launched for five characters that were popular in the original 'Monster Taming' game: Dorothy, Luna, Vivienne, Violet, and Tiny. PD Lee Dong-jo had previously promised at G-Star 2025 in November to listen to user opinions regarding the implementation of original characters.

The survey can be accessed via the link provided on official social media channels, and the results will be announced at a later date. The development team plans to conduct various surveys in the future to incorporate user feedback into the process of implementing original characters.

Finally, they announced a global launch for Monster Stardive in the first half of next year. PD Lee Dong-jo stated, "While it is important to meet players quickly, we felt it was more important to improve the game to meet their expectations. We will strive to present a more polished version of the game."

Monster Stardive is the successor to the 2013 mobile collectible RPG 'Monster Taming'. It is targeting a multi-platform release on PC and mobile, and global pre-registration is currently underway.
