Com2uS has officially wrapped up the recruitment phase for the first major event of 2026, the Summoners War Korea-Japan Super Match 2026.

It is a landmark year for the studio, as the flagship global eSports tournament, the Summoners War World Arena Championship (SWC), celebrates its 10th anniversary. The Korea-Japan Super Match serves as the opening act for these festivities.

The tournament, which has been a staple since its inception in 2023, has seen the Korean squad take home the trophy for two consecutive years. The road to the finals kicks off with online qualifiers this February, followed by the main event in Japan this March. Com2uS concluded the registration period which ran from December 16 to January 5 at 4:00 PM.

As for the heavy hitters, SCHOLES, a contender from the SWC 2025 Asia-Pacific Cup, will represent South Korea, while TAKUZO10, a veteran of the SWC 2025 World Finals, will lead the charge for Japan. Both secured their spots by leveraging the direct entry perks awarded based on their top-tier performances in previous official eSports circuits.

The latter half of the year will see the return of the global SWC 2026. Given the decade of experience behind them, Com2uS is positioning this as the grandest celebration yet for players across the globe.
