Ghost of Yotei is set to bring back its multiplayer mode, following in the footsteps of its predecessor.

Sucker Punch announced the update for Ghost of Yotei's Legends mode during the State of Play on the 13th. The revealed trailer showcases gameplay set in Hokkaido, featuring four characters diving into the fray. Notably, unlike the human foes in the main campaign, you will be squaring off against the six Yotei warriors who have been transformed into yokai-like entities.

Legends mode is the same cooperative multiplayer mode featured in Ghost of Tsushima. Players choose their preferred character to fend off waves of enemies or raid enemy strongholds. It supports up to four players per session, and solo play is also available.

The Ghost of Yotei Legends mode update arrives on March 10th and, much like the previous title, it will be available for free.

Ghost of Yotei is an open-world action game released last October. It follows the story of Atsu, a female warrior who lost her family to the six Yotei warriors, and it has been widely praised for its deeper combat mechanics, immersive visuals, and stellar sound design.
