Webzen announced on the 13th that it is rolling out a series of Lunar New Year events for three of its popular titles: the open-world action RPG Dragon Sword, mobile MMORPG MU Monarch 2, and the PC MMORPG MU Online.

First, Dragon Sword is running the 'Day of Gathering Fortune' event until March 4th. During the event period, players can earn Lunar New Year currency by consuming 'Light Keys' to successfully clear dungeons. The collected currency can be exchanged for various rewards, such as the 'Gentle Magpie' familiar and the 'Victory Secret Scroll'.

MU Monarch 2 is hosting a 'Joyful Festival' event featuring two distinct event shops. Through the 'Lunar New Year Commemorative Shop', players can exchange 'Rice Cake Soup' items, obtained via hunting, for rewards like Lunar New Year Diamond Lucky Bags or Wing Growth Bundles. The newly introduced 'Golden Exchange' shop allows players to trade unused items for necessary progression materials.

In addition to the shop events, MU Monarch 2 offers various other activities. A 'Character Collection Event' rewards players for collecting and submitting specific Lunar New Year-themed characters, and a 'Bingo Quest Event' provides various rewards, including the 'Lotus Trace' footprint item.

Finally, MU Online is offering an experience boost event until February 26th. During the event period, hunting experience rates will significantly increase at specific times on all servers, excluding test and speed servers. Additionally, monster HP has been reduced to facilitate faster character growth.
